COOPLANDS BAKERS TAKE A NEW STORE AT NETTLEHAM ROAD SHOPPING CENTRE
27.11.20 Commercial, Residential
Cooplands Bakers opened its latest store on Nettleham Road Shopping Centre on Tuesday morning. The 130 year old business is based in Scarborough and has 1,600 employees across its 160 stores.
The store will be open seven days a week and has created eight new jobs. CEO at Cooplands, Belinda Youngs commented “we are delighted to add Wolsey Way, Nettleham Road to the communities we serve and we are committed for the long term despite uncertain and challenging times for us all this year”
Cooplands have taken a new lease of Unit 8 which occupies a prime location on the centre, between Asda and Iceland. The coordination of Taylor Lindsey’s strip out work and Cooplands’ shop fit worked well, with the project completing ahead of schedule and allowing them to open in good time for the Christmas period.
Adrian Bower, Estate Manager at Taylor Lindsey said “Nettleham Road is a very popular trading location, units seldom come available but when the former tenants, Seacroft Mobility, decided to move out, were we happy to offer Cooplands the opportunity to locate to the Centre”.
They are a recognised brand and bring another use to the centre. We are sure the shop will prove very successful.
