16.2.16 Commercial, Residential
One of the first ‘Platinum Edition’ 3CX backhoe loaders, produced to mark JCB’s 70th Anniversary has been delivered to Lincoln based developers Taylor Lindsey by local dealer T.C. Harrison JCB.
Just 70 of the machines, in livery last seen more than 40 years ago on the JCB 3C III model, will be manufactured and despatched to customers around the world.
Taylor Lindsey have taken delivery of Machine Number 3 which has red buckets, full white cab and red wheels. Other features include air conditioned cabs, heated seat and a six-speed autoshift transmission. Machine Number 1 is being kept by JCB in their factory museum at Rocester, Staffordshire.
Adrian Bower of Taylor Lindsey said, “Only 70 machines will be produced globally in the iconic livery so we are very pleased to have received one of the first off the production line. Taylor Lindsey are a longstanding customer of JCB acquiring their first machines in the early 1960’s and we are delighted to add this present model to our fleet”.
