Taylor Lindsey has become the first company to join the Boultham Park Business Supporters Group. It is the latest initiative to help the £250,000 Capital Appeal for the new facilities planned at the park.
Linkage and City of Lincoln Council are working together on a £3.7 million regeneration, to feature an education centre, café, horticulture centre and park improvements. The work is grant-aided by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund Parks for People initiative.
Taylor Lindsey is pledging to donate £2,500 to the Appeal. Development Director Dan Race said “The company has supported many local charity projects in the city and is especially pleased to support this cause due to previous connections with the Boultham Park area”.
Barbara Moulson of Linkage Community Trust added “Thank you Taylor Lindsey for the support that the company is offering to the Boultham Park Restoration Project. It will make a huge difference for some of the most disadvantaged in our society – those with learning and other disabilities – our vision is that they are seen as people first, and have the same choices and opportunities as everyone else”.
