Elite Fish & Chip Company Open in Bailgate

After a comprehensive renovation and conversion by Taylor Lindsey, The Elite Fish & Chip Company has opened for business in the former Lloyds Bank building on Lincoln’s historic Bailgate.

‘The Elite on The Bail’ opened in February following the recruitment of thirty staff (8 full-time and 22 part-time). The business offers traditional fish and chips in both the 80-cover restaurant and the takeaway, which is accessed from a separate entrance on St Paul’s Lane. The restaurant also serves a varied seafood menu on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Fridays and Saturdays.

Robin Taylor, Director of Taylor Lindsey, said: “We are delighted to have worked with The Elite Fish & Chip Company on this project and we are very pleased to see the finished result; a combination of our high quality refurbishment of this landmark building and an attractive restaurant fit-out by Elite’.

In 2018, the Elite Fish & Chip Company celebrated 30 years in business in Lincolnshire and during its 30-year history the company has expanded to three restaurants and takeaways in Ruskington, Sleaford and Lincoln.
