NEW COFFEE SHOP OPENS NEXT TO THE NEWPORT ARCH

Taylor Lindsey have recently secured a new tenant at 9 Newport, next to Lincoln’s Roman Newport Arch. Previously Bo Peep’s Boutique, the shop has been completely transformed and is now home to an independent coffee shop, ‘Coffee by the Arch’.

The coffee shop is situated in the vibrant and bustling Bailgate area, in the historic Cathedral Quarter of uphill Lincoln. The nearby restaurants, bars and shops attract many tourists throughout the year, and since the restoration of the Castle, visitor numbers have tripled.

The 19-seat shop will be serving a range of hot and cold beverages, as well as cakes sandwiches and salads.

The opening is a lifelong dream for proprietor Simone Wilson who said “When the opportunity came up, and with some redundancy money, I decided to go for it. It was a now or never thing and always a lifetime ambition.”
