NEW LIGHT INDUSTRIAL UNITS PLANNED FOR LINCOLN BUSINESS PARK
13.1.17 Commercial, Residential
Taylor Lindsey has submitted a planning application to Lincoln City Council for the construction of nine new light industrial / warehouse units.
To be located on the company’s Lincoln Business Park development, the scheme will be located in the heart of the city’s prime commercial district and will have prominent frontage to Sadler Road.
The proposal is for units of 750 sq ft and 1,500 sq ft, sizes that are not well represented in the Lincoln market. Dan Race, Development Director at Taylor Lindsey commented ‘we wanted to design a scheme that would appeal to small and growing local businesses and will offer opportunities not available elsewhere in the city’. He continued ‘A number of 1,000 sq ft units have been built recently but we perceive demand from occupiers who want more flexibility on the size of their premises’.
The development will provide good levels of parking and easy access for deliveries and loading. It will be built alongside the Lincoln Gymnastics Club building which was completed by Taylor Lindsey a year ago.
